Pengaruh Penggunaan Aloe vera Dalam Ransum Terhadap Pertambahan Bobot Badan Harian, Konsumsi Ransum Dan Feed Convertion Ratio Pada Ayam Broiler Pejantan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of Aloe vera in the ration on daily body weight gain, consumption of rransum and FCR on male broiler chickens. The study was conducted from May to June 2018 in laboratory experiments on poultry raising, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Boyolali University.

This study uses Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with a trial. (DMRT), the material used was 100 male DOCs which were kept in 20 cages consisting of 5 chickens / cage plots as the experimental unit. In this study there were 4 treatments, T0 = control ration, T1 = commercial ration and 0.75% Aloe vera, T2 = commercial ration and 1.5% Aloe vera, T3 = commercial ration and 2% Aloe vera. The parameters studied were body weight, feed consumption, FCR (Feed convertion ratio).

The results of the study concluded that the administration of T3 aloe extract was 2% better than T1 Aloe extract 0.75% and T2 1.5% and better than T0 (control), because it increased the UN with low ration consumption. feed conversion improvements 6.10% compared to controls.
