Peer Review Process

Editorial and Review Process

  • The journal uses a double-blind peer review system. The suitability of manuscripts for publication in Tropical Animal Science is assessed by peer reviewers and the editorial board. The Chief Editor is responsible for all correspondence with the author and makes the final decision on whether the paper is accepted, rejected, or returned for revision.

  • The editorial team makes every effort to ensure that submitted manuscripts are reviewed promptly. Reviewers are encouraged to complete their evaluations as quickly as possible. However, any delays in the review process are not the responsibility of the journal’s management. If all stages from complete submission to revision proceed smoothly, a final decision is usually made within 4 to 8 weeks.

  • The manuscripts will be evaluated by one or two qualified peer reviewers selected by Chief Editor and Section Editor.

  • Papers needing revision will be returned to the authors, and the authors must return the revised manuscript to the Chief Editor via OJS of Tropical Animal Science.
