Peer Review Process

Editorial and Review Process

  • The journal uses a double-blind peer-review system. Manuscripts to be published are those assessed by at least 2 peer reviewers by using the double-blind review method and approved by the Editorial Board. Peer-reviewers and the editorial board assess the suitability of manuscripts for publication in Tropical Animal Science. The Chief Editor is responsible for all correspondence with the author and makes the final decision on whether the paper is accepted, rejected, or returned for revision.

  • The editorial team makes every effort to ensure that submitted manuscripts are reviewed promptly. Reviewers are encouraged to complete their evaluations as quickly as possible. However, any delays in the review process are not the responsibility of the journal’s management. The average manuscript turnaround time is approximately 2–4 weeks from submission to the first decision, and 10–12 weeks from submission to final publication, depending on the review process and revisions.

  • The manuscripts will be evaluated by two or more qualified peer reviewers selected by the Chief Editor and Section Editor.

  • Papers needing revision will be returned to the authors, and the authors must return the revised manuscript to the Chief Editor via OJS of Tropical Animal Science.
