Focus and Scope

Tropical Animal Science is an open-access scientific journal published by the Animal Science Department, Faculty of Animal Science, Boyolali University consistently published two times a year, in May and November, and aims to publish original research articles, reviews, and short communications on animal science. The journal covers a broad range of topics, including animal breeding and genetics, animal nutrition and feed science, reproductive biology and biotechnology, animal physiology, livestock management systems, animal products technology, microbiology, animal health, and socio-economic aspects of livestock production. Studies related to sustainable livestock production, animal welfare, and innovations in animal-based food systems are also welcome.

All submitted manuscripts must represent original work that has not been previously published or is not being considered for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts to be published are those assessed by at least 2 peer reviewers by using the double-blind review method and approved by the Editorial Board, to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope.
