Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor) and attach a statement of orgininality.
  • Submissions conform to the JITU template.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; Times New Roman, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Before submitting your paper, make sure it fits the following framework.

The total pages of each paper is 10-12 pages. Template can be downloaded here.

 

Explanations on each part of the paper:

Title

Title has to be short, dense, and clear. It covers keywords from research concept and observed variables. Maximum words for a title is 12 words.

Abstract

Abstracts are written in English. An abstract has to give summary to the readers about the article’s content, main result, and conclusion. This section is not part of the text and must be complete; no table numbers, pictures, references, or math expressions shown. An abstract must not have more than 200 words within one paragraph.

Keywords

This section contains 5 most important words from the paper, separated by semicolon (;).

Abstract

The abstract is translated to Indonesian. It must not have more than 200 words within one paragraph.

Keywords

This section contains 5 most important words from the paper, separated by semicolon (;).

Introduction

Introduction covers background, research questions, aim of the research, and writing organizations.

Methodology

Methodology covers steps on conducting research.

Result and Discussion

This section contains result of the research along with its discussions.

Conclusion

This section contains conclusion and suggestion from the research.

Acknowledgement

The researchers may want to show gratitude to all support from coworkers, the technical staffs or financial support from particular organizations.

References

JITU : Journal Informatic Technology And Communication uses IEEE style. It is suggested to make references using Mendeley tools with total 15 (minimum) references and 80% of the references coming from journals. It is also highly suggested to use recent references (less than 3 years sources for journals).  

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submitted papers have never been published or are in the process of submission to other journals and attach a statement of orginality.
  2. Submissions conform to the JITU template and on the format of .doc (must be .doc and NOT .docx) Microsoft Word with10-12 pages. 
  3. The title has 12 words maximum, with Times New Roman Bold as the font and size of 17, left aligned, unjustified, and with no indentation.
  4. Similarity score must be below 20%. Please kindly check your own similarity score using Turnitin, iThenticate, or other plagiarism checking tools
  5. The submitted papers must follow the format below:
      1. Font: Times New Roman; size: 10
      2. Single line spacing writing
      3. Paragraphs must be justified.
      4. The first paragraph after section or subsection heading may not be indented, the next paragraph must be indented 5mm. 
  6. References must use IEEE style. It is suggested to use Mendeley in order to manage references.
  7. The references used have to be 15 (minimum) and 80% of the references coming from journals. It is also highly suggested to use recent references (less than 5 years sources for journals) unless they are essential (more than 10 sources). Other literature can be in the form of textbooks or research reports (including theses/final projects, theses and dissertations), but efforts will be made not to exceed 20% of the total number of library sources.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission Fee: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are NOT required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

 

Article processing charges (APCs)/ Article Publication Fee: 600.000 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will  be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.
