Abstract

The health team has a crucial role in supporting athletes’ success, both in training and competition. This role includes aspects of preventing, treating, and recovering from injuries experienced by athletes, as well as improving their physical and mental fitness. The health team functions to ensure the athlete's physical condition remains optimal and supports post-injury recovery. This community service activity aims to improve the quality and quantity of athletes through a comprehensive health approach, focusing on preventing injuries, increasing fitness, and providing training on first aid techniques. This program is implemented through training involving theory and practice, including first aid techniques and appropriate injury rehabilitation steps. Evaluation results show that this service has proven to be beneficial, with a significant increase in participants' knowledge. This was proven through a comparison between the pre-test and post-test results, which showed a very significant difference (p<.000). In addition, participants were also able to provide better injury treatment after attending the training, which was reflected in their ability to identify the type of injury and provide appropriate first aid.
