Abstract

This article presents the implementation and impact of a socialization activity aimed at raising students’ awareness of juvenile delinquency at SMA Bhenika Karya Boyolali. The program targeted eleventh-grade students and employed a combination of educational strategies, including PowerPoint-based material presentation, educational video screening, and interactive discussion sessions. The content addressed key aspects of juvenile delinquency, such as its definition, causes, types, and consequences. The educational video provided emotional and contextual reinforcement of the topics discussed, prompting student reflection and engagement. Furthermore, the open dialogue sessions encouraged students to share their experiences and perspectives, creating a safe space for expression and character development. The results indicate that this activity significantly improved students' cognitive understanding, emotional awareness, and social responsibility concerning the issue. This socialization model is proven to be an effective preventive effort that schools can replicate to foster critical awareness and character formation among adolescents.
