Program Sosialisasi Penanaman Sikap Toleransi Dan Kebersamaan Umat Beragama Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Jaten

Abstract

One of the problems facing the world community in the current era is religious pluralism. With the truth believed by its adherents, religion can provoke fanaticism, which often leads to conflicts between religious communities. Tolerance and togetherness are important foundations to be developed in the school environment. The school is a social system made up of people with different backgrounds, family environments, Customs and religions. In this activity we use the socialization method, in this activity we focus on providing socialization about the importance of inter-religious tolerance to the Children of jaten Elementary School, Kragilan Village, Mojosongo District, Boyolali regency. Which aims to instill an understanding of how to appreciate the diversity that exists in their environment. We conclude that the cause of lack of religious tolerance in the school environment can occur due to two factors, namely internal factors on this factor influenced by the awareness that exists in each individual, and there are also external factors on this factor can be influenced by environmental conditions that are less supportive, less appropriate learning methods, lack of character education in schools and outside schools and many other external factors. Socialization activities about tolerance in jaten state elementary school make students who previously did not understand about tolerance after the holding of our activities the students better understand what is the definition of religious tolerance and the benefits obtained if they apply it.
