Abstract

The analysis of competency development needs in Boyolali Regency for 2024-2025 is an important step in improving the quality of human resources, especially the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and village officials. The following are several aspects that need to be considered ¹:Definition of Competency Development Needs Analysis: Competency development needs analysis is the process of identifying the gap between the competencies possessed by ASN and the competencies needed to carry out their duties and functions effectively. Objectives: To improve the quality of public services, enhance the professionalism of ASN, and improve the welfare of the community. Method: Competency development needs analysis can be conducted using the Training Need Analysis (TNA) method, which includes identifying skill types, analyzing competency development needs, and conducting evaluations. Benefits: Improving the quality of ASN, enhancing organizational performance, and increasing public trust in the government. In the context of Boyolali Regency, competency development needs analysis can be carried out by considering several factors, such as: Socioeconomic Conditions: Analysis of the socioeconomic conditions of Boyolali Regency can help identify competency development needs that are relevant to the needs of the community. Regional Development Planning: The 2025-2045 Boyolali Regency RPJPD (Regional Medium-Term Development Plan) can be used as a reference in determining the competency development needs of ASN and village officials. Regional Statistics: Statistical data on Boyolali Regency can help identify trends and patterns in community needs, so that competency development can be more effective.
