ANALISIS PRESENTASI DIRI PENGGEMAR K POP PADA AKUN INSTAGRAM @GEBYSRIKANDII

Social media currently allows every individual to display self-presentation that is the same as their identity in the real world or vice versa. One of the social media that is widely used to present themselves is Instagram. Self-presentation is an individual's effort to grow a certain impression in front of others by arranging behavior so that others can interpret their identity according to what they expect. The purpose of this study was to determine how self-presentation is carried out by @gebysrikandii as a K-pop content creator on her Instagram account. This study uses a dramaturgical perspective that seeks to find out Geby Srikandi's self-presentation when she is on the front stage as a K-pop content creator on her Instagram social media account @gebysrikandii, and when she is backstage regarding her daily life as a K-pop fan. This study uses a qualitative research method, as well as using an interpretive research paradigm to be able to see phenomena and explore experiences from the objects studied.
The results of the analysis show that Geby Srikandi's self-presentation on the front stage and the back stage are opposite sides. Geby Srikandi's self-presentation on the front stage is by forming an image as a K-pop fan who is actively involved in various fangirling activities and the content she creates focuses on one group she likes, namely NCT, Geby on her Instagram displays a cheerful and extrovert impression and likes to establish closeness with her followers, while on the back stage reveals Geby's activities in her daily life as a multifandom K-pop fan and has another job as a teacher, on the back stage Geby Srikandi shows activities that are also related to her job as a content creator.
